Milo is a very sweet Sheltie who already knows some basic commands.  Milo will be a wonderful companion to the right family because he REALLY REALLY wants to be a good boy and he REALLY REALLY wants to do whatever you want him to do.  He LOVES treats and is very motivated by them making him fairly easy to train.  Milo has a very sweet temperament with people.  He very much wants to find his forever human to bond with and love unconditionally.

Milo came from a situation that just wasn't a good fit for him or his family so he was turned over by the family who owned him to Sheltie Rescue of Utah.  He did not get along with the other dog in their household mostly because he aggressively herds others dogs and tries very hard to dominate them.  Milo needs to be an only dog.  He will chase other dogs, nipping at their heels, making them very unhappy, or possibly triggering a brawl.

Milo needs someone who will take him on walks or on a hike to help shake off some of that energy he seems to have.   Although, if Milo had a forever human it's possible he could be content as long as he gets to spend a lot of time with you.  If left alone for long periods of time Milo will find something to chew on - probably not something you want him to chew on unless you've set him up with appropriate chewies. Putting Milo into a home situation where he is left alone for 8 hours at a time is unlikely to work out very well either for Milo or for his family.
